Robert Forrester

Mr. Forrester’s professional career spans over 40 years, and has been dedicated to the advancement of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. His early career was spent in management with institutions of higher education, and in 1980, he founded and became CEO of Payne, Forrester & Associates, LLC, a leading international firm that provides consulting services to nonprofits in planning, management, governance, communications, and strategic fundraising. In 2005, he became the first President of Newman’s Own Foundation and, since 2008, has served as CEO of Newman’s Own Foundation and Newman’s Own, Inc. 

In addition to being a founding member of the Board of Directors of Safe Water Network, Mr. Forrester is a Director of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, The Discovery Center, SeriousFun Children’s Network, University of Hartford Board of Regents, Newman’s Own Foundation and Newman’s Own, Inc.
