India Resilient Cities Report (2018)

By: Safe Water Network

Safe Water Network seeks to advance the findings of this report to ensure that access to safe drinking water becomes easier, especially as India is beginning to face the severe repercussions of climate change. Our findings indicate that Safe Water Enterprises (SWEs) should be integrated into urban planning processes to ensure the creation of resilient cities. Expanding SWEs into the urban environment is a promising step to enabling successful collaboration between governments and the private sector. SWEs provide sustainable solutions to water-stressed cities by improving their resiliency and meeting the needs of the urban poor.
