Remote Kiosks in Ghana

A significant cost-effective approach implemented in Ghana was establishing pipeline-connected points of sale to the water systems in the country. Distance is a major determining factor in adoption. SWN found that remote kiosks doubled sales in two communities and proved to be sustainable. Implementing remote kiosks also has the added benefit of reducing per-liter system costs by up to 56%.
