Safe Water Network hosted its 10th annual Beyond the Pipe Forum in Accra, under the theme "Safe Water: The Power of Enterprise." This crucial gathering brought together nearly 200 leaders from the public sector, private sector, and development partners to discuss the expansion of safe water enterprises (SWEs) and deliver water services to an estimated 3.2 million people in over 1,000 peri-urban communities and small towns in Ghana by 2030.
Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. For Safe Water Network, International Women's Day reinforces a daily commitment we've made to not only reduce the physical burden of water collection for women but to also enable economic independence.
